At the end of this joyous Christmas season we will return to our own towns, to the ordinary-ness of our daily routines and rituals…But perhaps in a new way the manifestation of the divine indwelling of a ‘sleeping child’ will bring us like Mary and Joseph to wonder and amazement at the gifts we have received…

May our hearts, like Mary's, be open to the new birthing that this holy time of Advent, no matter how dark it is. May we know that God provides for us, walks with us, wonders with us, and waits to fill us with new hope and possibilities.
